All the Amour
‘Preventing is better than curing.’
In these politically and socially troubled times, Anne believes that a change is urgently needed so that people have the opportunity to look after themselves and their mental, physical and emotional health.
Anne uses her combined 20 years personal and professional experience as a wellbeing practitioner (reiki level 2, yoga yin / vinyasa flow facilitator, Ayurvedic massage therapist with reflexolgogy, drama therapy and counselling skills, mental health first aider) and voice acting for running her sessions according to everyone’s needs.
Anne also works part time in education as a psychology lecturer, therefore she has a DBS check online and can teach young people.
Her class is open to anyone who wants to learn how to find comfort within through the body, accept who you are and learn how to self-regulate.
Anne invites everyone to reconnect with themselves, to learn how to identify emotions and control them through breathing. No matter how much you eat well or have a healthy lifestyle, if you don’t know how to breathe, its the equivalent of eating junk food. Emotions are part of being human, there are no good or bad emotions. They just are and that is the difficult part of letting them be and letting them pass by. Being comfortable with them in your mind and body.
Anne starts with a simple explanation of how the breath affects our brain and body. She uses a very gentle, fun and accessible approach focused on mindful breathing, relaxation, free movement, dance and self massage. Her sessions are made for you to feel more at ease finding your own healing power.
OUTCOMES:
Learn how to breathe to feel comfortable with your emotions and in your own body
Improve sleep
Improve self-esteem and self-image
Encourage a fit and healthy lifestyle
Promote an overall sense of wellbeing
Build self-regulation
When we’re little, we’re told to respect our elders, say ‘please’ and ‘thank you’, and ask if we want to leave the table – but that’s about it when it comes to teaching communication skills.
We’re not taught how to have difficult conversations, how to express ourselves, how to listen, how to be on the receiving end of someone else’s anger, fear or pain. So, we avoid it like the plague.
But I’m starting to believe (and am still learning) that being transparent actually eliminates awkwardness rather letting it flourish, not to mention shows respect and humility.

Reviews
Anne has been a cover teacher at Kabbala studio for a variety of classes including teen yoga, kids yoga and yoga nidra.
She has a lovely manner and is a very good teacher. She brings a combination of seriousness about the yoga with a sense of joy and playfulness especially to the kids and teens classes.
Her wonderful melodic voice and ability to easily connect with participants is perfectly suited to teaching yoga nidra.
People who attended and parents commented on how much they enjoyed her classes.
